25 Syrians and Iraqis were rescued by the Hellenic Coast Guard near Samos, while 4 children drowned. The children include three Iraqi siblings (ages 8,10 and 13; 2 boys and a girl), and a 10-year-old Syrian boy. Mechanical damage is thought to have caused the shipwreck.
