Report Missing

Missing Migrants Project supports searches for missing family members by referring you to Restoring Family Links Network of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. In order to obtain support support from members of the network in searches, you are asked to go to the RFL Service (Restoring Family Links) in the country where you live. This service is active in 190 countries and the addresses may be found on the dedicated website of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. In all cases, the first step is a tracing request which is completed by a member of the Red Criss Red Crescent Movement during a face-to-face interview with a family member of the missing in your country of residence.

Family members living in Italy who have lost loved ones in the Mediterranean can approach the Tracing, RFL and Protection Service of the Italian Red Cross through the email address tracing@cri.it The number +39 (0) 2 3312 9335 is available from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00 for the sole purpose of informing families about the functioning of the service – it is not possible for Red Cross staff members to provide information on single individuals on the phone or via email.

For all other enquiries please contact your local Red Cross Red Crescent representative in your country of residence.
