Death of a 2-month-old Syrian infant was announced today by the Hellenic Coast Guard. The child, his family and others were in a dinghy approaching the island of Agathosini. Due to the weather conditions, the boat crashed on the rocks of the island and overturned. The infant was taken to Samos island for medical attention, but was pronounced dead a few hours later from injuries sustained in the crash. Location approximate.
